In this second video in the #SleeptoPerform series I outline the different stages of sleep – Stage 1, Stage 2, Deep Sleep (Stages 3 and 4), and Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep. Each stage has its own distinct characteristics and benefits. In this video I walk you though each stage highlighting a handful of important benefits for each stage. Side note: Around the 18 minute mark during the wrap up I refer to REM sleep as Slow Wave Sleep…sorry for the confusion.
