How Much Fish Oil Should I Take? How to Determine Your Personal Needs

The goal of supplementation is to supplement your diet with nutrients or bioactive compounds that you do not (or cannot) get via your regular diet. Unfortunately most of the time we supplement based off of general recommendations or guidelines as individual testing for personal needs is not available or is wildly expensive. Fortunately there is a simple blood test available that will allow you to determine based on your own physiology if you should increase or decrease your omega-3 fat intake.
